Ranking & Visibility Policy

1.LEGAL NATURE AND SCOPE

This Ranking & Visibility Policy (the "Policy") governs the listing, ranking, visibility, and promotional mechanics applicable to commercial entities featured on the WAYLI platform.

This Policy constitutes an annex and integral part of WAYLI's General Terms and Conditions ("T&Cs").

This Policy applies to all commercial partners, including but not limited to:

•

Restaurants, cafés, lounges, rooftops, beach clubs

•

Bars and clubs (subject to applicable licensing laws)

•

Spas, leisure operators, activity providers

•

Hotels, resorts, hospitality groups

•

Multi-brand F&B groups

•

Any additional commercial category integrated in future platform versions

By requesting or maintaining listing on WAYLI, a Venue acknowledges and accepts this Policy without reservation.

2.DEFINITIONS

•

"Venue" — Any commercial establishment listed on WAYLI.

•

"User" — Any individual interacting with WAYLI through WhatsApp or any authorized interface.

•

"Listing" — The inclusion of a Venue within the WAYLI database.

•

"Organic Results" — Results generated exclusively by WAYLI's proprietary algorithm without paid prioritization.

•

"Sponsored Placement" — A clearly identified promotional format purchased under a paid subscription.

•

"Relevance Score" — The algorithmic score assigned to a Venue based on user query and contextual factors.

•

"Intelligence+" — WAYLI's premium service tier providing extended indexing, analytics, and promotional eligibility.

3.CORE PRINCIPLE: ALGORITHMIC NEUTRALITY & INTEGRITY

WAYLI operates under a strict algorithmic neutrality principle. WAYLI does not sell guaranteed absolute ranking positions within Organic Results.

Under no circumstances shall payment entitle a Venue to:

•

Appear in a personalized recommendation when it does not meet relevance criteria

•

Override user intent or query logic

•

Interfere with algorithmic personalization

Organic Results are determined exclusively through automated processing based on:

•

User profile data

•

Behavioral history

•

Time and contextual signals

•

Location relevance

•

Declared and inferred preferences ('Taste Graph')

•

Intrinsic Venue attributes

Paid services may influence ranking only in cases of equal relevance score, through a predefined tie-breaker mechanism. WAYLI reserves full discretion over algorithm updates, provided such updates remain consistent with neutrality principles.

4.SPONSORED VISIBILITY – REGULATORY TRANSPARENCY

Sponsored placements shall always be clearly and visibly identified as promotional content. Sponsored formats may include:

•

Highlight badges

•

'Wayli Pick' designations

•

Curated thematic spotlights

•

Priority positioning in designated sponsored blocks

Sponsored placements shall not modify or override Organic Results logic. WAYLI operates in compliance with UAE consumer protection and advertising transparency standards.

5.LISTING ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS (UAE SPECIFIC COMPLIANCE)

To be eligible for listing, a Venue must:

5.1

Be duly licensed under applicable UAE laws.

5.2

Comply with all relevant regulatory authorities, including: Department of Economic Development (DED), Dubai Department of Economy & Tourism (DET / formerly DTCM), food safety authorities, and alcohol licensing authorities (where applicable).

5.3

Provide accurate, complete, and regularly updated information.

5.4

Grant WAYLI a non-exclusive right to use its brand name, images, and descriptive materials strictly for listing and promotional purposes.

5.5

Maintain lawful operational status at all times.

WAYLI reserves the right to request supporting documentation to verify compliance.

6.RANKING CRITERIA

Organic ranking is determined through cumulative scoring across the following dimensions:

6.1

User Relevance (Primary Factor – Non-Negotiable): Matching intent, declared and inferred preferences, contextual signals, behavioral engagement.

6.2

Geographic Proximity: Distance, accessibility, urban relevance, real-time context.

6.3

Venue Attributes: Category, cuisine type, ambiance, pricing tier, opening hours, amenities.

6.4

Profile Quality: Completeness, accuracy, visual standards, update frequency.

6.5

Aggregated Behavioral Signals: Engagement rates, interaction quality, click-through patterns. Individual user data is never disclosed to Venues.

7.PAID INDEXING ENHANCEMENTS

Paid subscriptions may provide:

•

Increased tag capacity

•

Extended category indexing

•

Eligibility for curated placements

•

Higher probability placement in tie-score situations

Paid subscriptions do not alter algorithmic neutrality. No paid package guarantees a specific ranking position. WAYLI reserves the right to update subscription structures subject to its T&Cs.

8.DATA PROTECTION & COMPLIANCE

WAYLI acts as Data Controller in accordance with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 (Personal Data Protection Law) and GDPR where applicable.

Data used for ranking:

•

Is processed lawfully

•

Is aggregated and anonymized

•

Is not sold

•

Is not shared at individual user level

Venues receive only statistical insights. WAYLI implements commercially reasonable technical and organizational safeguards.

9.SUSPENSION AND DELISTING

WAYLI may suspend or remove a Venue without prior notice in cases including but not limited to:

•

Regulatory non-compliance

•

Fraudulent activity

•

Review manipulation

•

False or misleading information

•

Operational closure

•

Reputational risk to WAYLI

•

Request from competent government authority

10.INTEGRATION WITH GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

This Ranking & Visibility Policy is an annex to WAYLI's General Terms and Conditions (T&Cs). All matters relating to the following are exclusively governed by the main T&Cs available on the WAYLI platform:
